In North Miami, shops are busiest on Monday mornings and before holiday weekends, so a mid-week appointment gets a car seen faster. Labor rates across Florida vary by neighborhood and by shop type, from small independents to dealership service bays, and mobile mechanics now cover many routine jobs in the driveway. Before authorizing a repair, ask for the estimate in writing, whether the shop warranties parts and labor (12 months / 12,000 miles is common, some offer more), and whether it can provide a loaner or a shuttle. Check the listing for hours, the makes the shop works on and its Google rating, then call ahead, since walk-in capacity is limited at smaller shops.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 8 am–10 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Miami Auto Inspections at (305) 726-3074; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. I wanted to take the time to leave Franco a well-deserved review because I was genuinely impressed with the entire experience. I’m from New Jersey and was spending about 35 days in Florida when I decided to purchase a rolls Royce wraith. Because I was buying a higher-end vehicle, I didn’t want to rely solely on what the dealership was telling me about the condition of the car. I wanted an experienced, independent third party to inspect it thoroughly and give me an unbiased opinion before I moved forward. Franco came highly recommended, and from our very first conversations, I could tell he was extremely professional and about his business. Communication was great, he knew exactly what needed to be done, and I never felt like I had to monitor him or follow up to make sure things were being handled. What really impressed me was when the dealership actually called me and said, “Man, this guy has been here for three or four hours inspecting the car.” That immediately gave me a tremendous amount of confidence. Franco wasn’t rushing through an inspection just to collect a fee—he was going through the vehicle thoroughly and doing exactly what I hired him to do. Afterward, he sent me a

Franco gave me a great report on a car I was looking to purchase remotely and saved me from buying a car I couldn't get registered where I live. His report gave plenty of technical details and photos to get a complete perspective on the car. He texted me while he was on-site giving me some feedback about the dealer itself, confirming the vibe I was getting off of them already. Would definitely use his services again!

I found a car in Miami I was interested in, but being in Arizona I needed someone to inspect it for me in a timely manner. Frank went to check out the car for me the next day after I reached out to him. He got me a thorough report with well over a hundred pictures and found some issues that helped me decide it wasn't the right car for me. He was concise, no nonsense, and worth the money. If you're looking at buying a classic or rare automobile out of Miami, Frank is the guy to contact.

My son is in the market for an OBS (old body style) short bed pickup, ~1995-2004, easy to work on, under $8k. My hubs has been shopping here in FL. After two days of conversation with a seller near Miami (4 hrs from us) we found and hired Miami Auto Inspections (1885 NE 149th St, Suite F, North Miami Beach / Miami, FL 33181) to go over and check it out. WOW! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Only 1 of 71 page report shown here; photos, video and immediate info to us. Frank was FABULOUS to work with. He was on time, thorough, professional (ASE certified) and a pleasure with which to work. Definitely saved us time and money. Highly recommend!
